Susan "Ivory Blue" Rivera - Keys, Backup Vocals

Born and raised in New York City, Susan Lusher Rivera, has been an important member of the South Florida entertainment community for many years and has recently moved to the Atlanta area. A classically trained pianist since the age of seven, she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, and ripened her talent progressing from Classical to Pop, Rock, Country and Blues. Throughout her life, Susan has professionally honed her skills through associations with many different bands and musicians. In recent years, in addition to studio recording, she was the keyboardist/backup singer for the Albert Castiglia Band and toured with them nationally for about five years. She has played with blues legends Michael Bloomfield, Hubert Sumlin (Howlin’ Wolf’s guitarist), Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters’ guitarist), Chris Beard, John Mooney, Joey Gilmore, J.P. Soars, Zac Harmon, Latimore and many others. Besides the obvious influences of all the great rock bands, from the Beatles, Stones, and Animals through Green Day and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, her playing has been influenced by Barry Goldberg, Alan Price, Ray Charles, Otis Span, and Chuck Leavell.
