Chris is a guitarist and songwriter who was blessed to be born into a musical family in Gainesville, GA. He took piano lessons as a young child, but picked up the guitar at age 15, partly because of his love of music, but mostly so girls would think he was cool. He studied music at Gainesville College, and joined his first band at 19. Key influences in the beginning were “Beatlemania” and other 60’s and 70’s popular music. Later he studied jazz guitar, and along the way acquired a taste for country, soul, and most all styles of music. Except rap.
Over the years, Chris and his trusty six-string have been privileged to play around the Southeast with many great musicians, in more bands than he can remember. He was the original lead guitarist of Rockasaurus from 2004 to 2007, during the “Return To The Rock Age” tour. He is now pleased to rejoin Rockasaurus on the “Licensed To Party” tour. Once a dinosaur, always a dinosaur!
Chris also teaches private guitar lessons at his home in Flowery Branch, so give him a rang if you got a thang for that twang!
